On Wednesday 10 April 1912, RMS Titanic left Southampton on her maiden voyage to New York. Four days later, half an hour before midnight, she struch an iceberg. By 2 am the last lifeboat had rowed frantically away. Then, within only twenty minutes, the great ship had sunk and 1,500 people had lost their lives. This book recaptures those critical four last days. Was the Titanic, despite repeated ice warnings, travelling too fast?
