Holm Coultram College is changing its image, so a memorial statue is moved to make way for a new building. When a skeleton appears underneath, the murder it reveals must be investigated, and Superintendent Dalziel and Sergeant Pascoe are put on the case. Brian Glover's voice tends to have a harsh, raspy tone, which fits well with Dalziel, but one must listen attentively to catch the words. There's very little change of voice or tone as Glover reads the other characters, but the story moves along well, so that isn't problematic. D.M.W. (c) AudioFile 2001, Portland, Maine
